Each member of our team had different personal journeys that led them here, but, most of us experienced the feeling of being “the other” along the way, at some point. Being different can be tough. But we believe that it is also a gift, one that can, in a healthy environment, create opportunities for growth in numerous ways. We all work hard here to design and run beautiful and meaningful experiments and simulations. But we also do our best to create such a healthy work and social atmosphere, where all feel welcome and valued (regardless of any differences in race, ethnicity, ability, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, and skin color), while being challenged to tackle the world’s most challenging scientific and engineering problems.
